This 2-month intensive course is designed to help students recite the Qur’an correctly and beautifully, following the *rules of Tajweed as passed down through generations. It focuses on theory and practice, suitable for beginners or anyone looking to correct their recitation.

Week 1: Introduction to Tajweed

What is Tajweed? Why is it important?

Makharij (articulation points of Arabic letters)

Week 2: Characteristics of Letters (Sifaat al-Huruf)

Heavy vs. Light letters (Tafkheem & Tarqeeq)

Qalqalah letters and how to pronounce them

Week 3: Noon Saakin & Tanween Rules

Idghaam (merging)

Ikhfaa (hiding)

You can choose from *Urdu, English, or a bilingual option based on your students.

3. Will I receive a certificate?

Yes! An e-certificate will be awarded to all students who complete the course and final test.

4. Do I need to memorize the Qur’an for this course?

No. This course focuses on correct recitation, not memorization. However, memorized Surahs can be used for practice.

5. How will you correct my recitation?

Live classes will include listening to students You’ll receive individual feedback in class or via voice notes.

6. What materials do I need?

A Mushaf (Qur’an with Tajweed color coding preferred)

Internet access and notebook

PDFs and resources will be shared online

7. Will there be a test?

Yes. A simple test at the end will assess your understanding of Tajweed rules and practical recitation.

8. What if I miss a class?

All sessions are recorded and uploaded, so you can watch them anytime.

9. Is this a free or paid course?

10. Can kids join?

Teens girls and 12+ are welcome. For younger children, we recommend a separate Kids Tajweed Course with a simplified pace.
